I'm Mila and welcome to my Fitbites blog! I love yoga, running, lifting weights, kicking and punching. I trained karate for over ten years and reached 2nd Dan Black Belt. After moving to the Netherlands I learned to eat healthier after putting on 20 pounds in weight. I became a vegetarian for a while and thereafter adopted a balanced middle way to food.
My grandpa was a chef and he raised me eating the most delicious things (often not healthy). So I learned to cook thanks to him and combined my passion for cooking with a healthy mantra: eating nourishing food everyday. It may be raw, it may be meat or vegan however it will always be delicious, which is essential to feeling satisfied. Sweets are not excluded but promoted to further contribute in your nutrition. I wanted to share my recipes and nutrition knowledge so I started this blog, which hopefully will help you change your eating lifestyle and reach your health goals. |
